Conestoga Campground & RV Park

Centrally located between Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks in the Smith River Valley.  National forests surround our RV park, with great access for fishing, hunting and off-roading.  History abounds in area attractions. Stop into one of our local businesses (restaurants, brewery or bakery).

About Us

Family Owned in the Heart of Montana

 We are located just a few blocks off of US 89 between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park.  The Smith River Valley is comprised of large cattle ranches, expansive agricultural fields, and huge mountain meadows all surrounded by the Big Belt, Little, Belt, and Castle mountain ranges leaving guests and locals inspired by the beauty and big sky that only Montana can offer.  Our amenities offer something for everyone whether just passing through or staying a while.

    Office Hours

    2026 Season -  May 1st - Nov 1 * 


    CHECK IN - STARTS @ 1 PM.  Arrivals after office closes will be left information/map in our Registration center on front of office bldg. 

    CHECK OUT - 11 am

    Please contact the office for early check in or late check out (Fees will apply)


    * Due to cold weather conditions, there may be limited water available at some sites during the early (May) & late (Oct) parts of the season.
